Goldentydes Manifesto
I love creating this — a way I somehow stumbled upon, a path where I develop myself. I believe in it, and I’m truly glad I’m not selling out.
I write music simply because I cannot not write it.
It plays in my head, and I can’t stop pulling it out.
Sometimes it overflows, and the only way to save myself is to improvise on an instrument for 3–5 hours, pouring all ideas out without regrets.
Music has been an important partner for me since childhood, always accompanying me everywhere.
I used to make mixtapes on cassettes and dreamed of creating music myself — and then I started trying.
I have a large vinyl collection and stories about musicians that inspire me — their stories, their words, it feels like I know them.
I love listening to my vinyl collection, and even now I feel a kind of intimate pleasure recording mixtapes on audio cassettes.
Goldentydes is warm instrumental music with a tape-like sound, inspired by the sea, old cassettes, and the feeling of the present moment.
